OBITUARY Ella Geneva (Worrell) Carlton April 22, 1929 – January 25, 2019 Geneva Worrell Carlton, age 89, of Plant City, FL passed away on January 25, 2019 in Lake City, FL. She served for over 30 years as athletic department secretary at Plant City High School and Armwood High School. Following her retirement from the school system, she continued working for several years at Albertson’s Distribution Center and Wal-Mart.

Survivors include her son, Clay Carlton; daughters Jeannean C. (Ellis A) Adams and Susan (Robert) C. Woodard; grandchildren, Clay (Brenda) Carlton, Jr, Clifton Carlton, Rebecca A. (Matthew) Falter and Sarah Woodard; great grandchildren, Rayna Carlton and Colin Falter; brother, Edwin (Ruth) Worrell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lula Worrell; her husband, William H. “Buck” Carlton, Jr; brother, James Worrell and sister, Clarice Ryals. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 1, 2019 at Wells Memorial, 1903 W Reynolds St, Plant City, FL.

Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 9:00-10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 12:30 pm in Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Florida Baptist Children’s Home, PO Box 8190, Lakeland, FL 33802.
