Obituary for Ella Marie McGraw (Shaffer) Print Ella Shaffer McGraw Ella Shaffer McGraw, 83, went home to be with the Lord on February 12th after a long illness. She was the daughter to the late Preston and Syble Shaffer of Charleston. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude “Coonie” McGraw, brother Norman Shaffer, and sister Mable Rastle.
Ella is survived by her daughters, Kelly McGraw Ciccarello of Bridgeport, and Karen McGraw Mack (Robert) of New York, NY; brothers Charles Preston Shaffer, Jr. (Jeanne) and Ray Shaffer both of Charleston; sister Faye Shaffer of Charleston, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hubbard House Hospice in Charleston, WV. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 14th, 2:00PM, at Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview with Pastor Nahum Balser officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service 12:00-2:00PM at Hafer Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www. haferfuneralhome.net.
