She passed away at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Castle Gate, Utah to James Trimms and Rosetta Huff Trimms and was the younger of two children.
Ellen was preceded in death by her father, James Trimms, her mother Rosetta Huff Trimms, and her brother, Harold Trimms. She is survived by her three children Penny McConnell, David Blackham, Richard Barham, her two grandchildren, Rhiannon and Amelie, her daughter-in-law Tracy Blackham, sister-in-law Glenda DePriest, niece Marslene Trimms, and great-niece Chelsie Nicole Trimms. Ellen had a passion for art, the great outdoors, and anything fun and exciting.
