Ellen L. “Sis”‘s Obituary PETERSTOWN, WV – Ellen Lucille “Sis” Dillon, age 57, of Peterstown, WV, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. After 13 long years of battling cancer and lung disease, she passed away at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Radford, VA. Born May 22, 1961, in Pemberton, WV, she was the daughter of Charles Arless “Obbie” Alexander of Peterstown, WV, and the late Susie Ella Terry Alexander.

Sis was a former employee at Pulaski Furniture, but was best known for being the Avon lady. She loved going on adventures, whether it be on the motorcycle or with her family. Her special fur baby, Pebbles, was the dog of her life.

In her final hours, she chose to be re-baptized because the Lord was calling her home. She loved her family more than anything. In addition to her father, survivors include her devoted and loving husband, Tim Dillon; one son, Wayne Dillon of Princeton, WV; one daughter, Ashley Sigmon and husband Matt of Bluefield, WV; two brothers, James Arless Alexander, Sr. and Thomas Allen Alexander and wife Nedra, all of Peterstown, WV; one sister, Debra Sue McMahan and husband Carl of Peterstown, WV; five nieces, Tammy Price, Angela Vaughn, Melissa Ganoe, Tiffany McMahan, and Cheyanne Alexander; seven nephews, Jamie Ganoe, Arless Alexander, Derick Alexander, Anthony Dillon, Scotty Dillon, Chris Dillon, and Nathan Daugherty.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, WV, with Minister Donald Henegar, Pastor Todd Gray, and Pete Dunford officiating. Burial will follow at the Bradley Cemetery in Lindside, WV. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, February 1, 2019, at the funeral home.
