Ellen’s Obituary Ellen J. Vandenberg, age 61 of Cecil, passed away on May 5, 2019 at her home. Ellen was born on October 11, 1957, in Kaukauna, to the late Joseph and Catherine (Jager) Janssen. She lived in Shawano for the past 35 years.

Ellen worked for Walmart as a cashier for 15 years. Ellen enjoyed quizzes, watching television, and playing video games. Ellen is survived by: one daughter, Nikki (John) Weaver of Shawano; one son, Jacob Vandenberg of Orlando, Florida; one granddaughter, Kitana; one great-granddaughter, Aniyah; and three siblings, Larry Janssen, Darlene White, and Sue Ann (Jesse) Zuniga.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Dick, and two brothers, Jim and Jack Janssen. Private family services were held. Swedberg Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
