Obituary for Ellow Gordon Guined Ellow Gordon Guined, 85, of Lake Ann passed away in June of 2018 at his home. Gordon was born on April 6, 1933 in Detroit to the late Ellow Junior and Ola Jewell (Spalding) Guined. Gordon was raised in Royal Oak and graduated from Royal Oak High School.

On August 9, 1952 Gordon married the love of his life, Eleanor Eunice Gerlach in Detroit. In January of 1953 Gordon enlisted in the United States Navy. He honorably served aboard the USS Threadfin Submarine as an electrician.

Upon discharge in 1954, Gordon returned home to Michigan. He was employed with Chrysler for 12 years as a tool engineer and then pursued careers as a licensed builder and an insurance agent. Following retirement, in his spare time he enjoyed wood working and carved many birds and seagulls.

He had an arts and crafts business called the Seagulls Nest. Gordon was preceded in death by his beloved wife Eleanor and their daughter Deborah Cribs. Gordon is survived by his children Sandra Musgrove of Harrison, Pamela Castle of Texas and Christine (Timothy) Wood; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and sisters Juanita Kline of Southfield and Barbara Richie of Fenton.

Per Gordon’s wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association. Please share your memories with Gordon’s family at www.
