Deacon Elmo Henry, III “Crockett” Funeral services for Deacon Elmo Henry, III, 63, of Brazoria will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Brazoria First Assembly in Brazoria, TX, with Dr. Michael Mosley of Atlanta, Georgia, officiating and Bishop Michael Forney of Pearland, Texas, eulogizing. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. He passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Sweeny Community Hospital.

“Crockett” as he was fondly called, received primary and secondary education in Houston, Texas. He later obtained his Associate in Theology and Bachelor of Theology in Religious Education. He enjoyed playing dominoes, working in the yard, gardening, animals, tinkering and cooking.

Elmo was the owner of Henry’s Heavy Metal Recovery for many years. He was a man of many talents who loved meeting and helping people. He had a big heart and warm infectious smile.

He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Sillette and stepfather, Earl Sillette; his father Elmo Henry Jr.; daughter, Tamika Houston; brother, Larry Henry; and grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Henry, Brazoria; son, Damarcus Nerocker; daughter, Tia Thomas; brothers, Emmanuel and Timothy Henry; aunts, Loriane Robinson and Barbara Guidry; uncles, Lee Foster Jr., Willie Foster, and Eugene Foster; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, friends, and business acquaintances.
