Mr. Elmore Franklin “Frank” Neal, 83, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. He was born May 11, 1935 in Lancaster, a son of the late Dewey Neal and Nannie Estridge Neal. Mr. Neal was very goal oriented.

Early in life, he was a Boy Scout, rising to the rank of Eagle. He was an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church where served as a Deacon for a number of years. Mr. Neal retired from Founders and became an avid golfer during his retirement.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Neal will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Hatcher officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mr. Neal is survived by his wife Marcene Neal; two sons, Chris F. Neal and Jeffrey H. Neal both of Lancaster; two brothers, Bruce Neal and his wife Kay of Rock Hill and Billy Neal and his wife Fay of Snellville, Georgia; a sister, Nancy Ray of Columbia; three grandchildren, Jenna Humphries, Jantson Neal, and Janie Grace Neal; and a great grandson, Fletcher Humphries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, W. C. Neal, Paul Neal, Estridge “Ace” Neal and Jack Neal. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at First Baptist Church and other times at the home.
