Madison-Eloyse A. Peters, age 91, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 22, 1926, in Sun Prairie, WI, the daughter of Esthray and Ruth (Schlueter) Otto. Eloyse graduated from Deerfield High School in 1944 and completed a 2 year business degree from MATC-Madison.

She was married on January 26, 1946 at the Eastside Lutheran Church to Reginald C. Peters. Eloyse loved quilting and chatting with all her friends, family and church members. Eloyse is survived by her husband of 72 ½ wonderful years, Reg; two children, Ronald (Donna) Peters and Kathleen Peters; 3 grandchildren, Dan (Angie) Peters, Renee (Jamie) Zenger and Ryan Peters; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Esthray and Ruth Otto and her brother, Glenn Otto. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N Sherman Ave, with Pastor Mark Bartels officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9am until the time of service.

Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. A special thanks to SSM Health Care Hospice for the care and support provided to Eloyse. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eloyse’s name to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
