Elsie E. (Duffett) Horn, 83 of West Deer Township, died Thursday December 27, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot with her children by her side. She was born February 4, 1935 in Pittsburgh to the late William and Frances (Lander) Duffett. Elsie has lived in West Deer most of her life.

She worked as a retail clerk for the former Value Fair and Woolworth’s and also worked for the Drapery Factory in Bairdford. She was a member of Deer Creek United Presbyterian Church, West Deer. She enjoyed bingo, boating though especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children Margaret A. Jelks of Russellton, Laura J. (Anthony) Pfeil of West Deer and Dale E. (Darla) Horn of West Deer, grandchildren Amanda Bowser of West Deer, James Nutt of Sewickley and Gregory (Samantha) Horn of West Deer, great-grandchildren Gary, Abagail and Lily. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Francis Dale Phillip Horn February 9, 2015 and her brother William Duffett. The Family will receive friends Sunday from 2 PM until the time of the service at 3:45 PM in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp.

with the Rev. Terry Mann, officiating. She will be privately laid to rest next to her husband in Hampton Cemetery, Hampton.
