Elvira Livia Quentin, 80 of Old Bridge, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at her home. Born on April 6, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elvira Granito. Elvira was raised in Brooklyn and graduated from Prospect Heights High School.

She spent all of her career working in banking. For many years she worked with HSBC Bank as a new accounts manager. More recently Elvira worked at Ocean First Bank in Matawan.

She was known affectionately as ‘Aunt Prunney,’ by her loved ones, and enjoyed dancing, social gatherings and connecting with family and friends through Facebook. She loved all animals, especially her dear cats, Baby and Missy. She was a kind and beautiful woman who will be missed by all those that were blessed to have had her as a part of their lives.

Elvira was predeceased by her parents Charles and Elvira Granito, and by her twin brother Charles Granito. Elvira is survived by her loving daughter Pamela Quentin, her loving son Gerard Quentin, her caring sister Angela Sanchirico, her cherished grandson, Michael Matos, his fiancé Kristina, and by her cherished great-grandson Gianni Matos, by her loving nieces and nephews, Angela Sanchirico, Dolores Sanchirico, Charles Granito, Kenneth Granito, Annemarie Granito, Catherine Davis, Montgomery Granito, Charlene Granito, and Alexandra Granito. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday at St. Ambrose Church located at 83 Throckmorton Ln Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park Cemetery, East Brunswick, NJ. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2019, and Sunday May 5, 2019, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
