Emerson’s Obituary Emerson J. Dokes age 67 of Ridgely TN. died Sunday , October 28,2018 at West Tennessee Healthcare- Dyersburg. Arrangements are entrusted to McCreight Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 11:00a.m.-12:55p.m. at Emmanuel Church of God In Christ in Tiptonville, TN. Funeral service will follow at 1:p.m. with Bishop Curtis McClendon officiating. Burial will be held in Citizens Cemetery in Tiptonville, TN.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Chamberlain Dokes of Ridgely, TN. Son; Rev. Rodney (Kelli) Covington, Murray, Ky.

, Sisters; Betty Dokes Williams, Benton Harbor, MI. , Mary Reid, Myrtle Dokes, Ridgely, TN. , Dorothy Matthews, Dallas, Tx.

Five Grandchildren. A host of Nieces and Nephews and cousins. Emerson was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Rosie Lee Woolens, Paulene Dokes.
