Obituary for Emily L. Philpott Emily L. Philpott, 81, passed away on November 30, 2018 at the Stonebrook Rehabilitation Center in New Castle where she had currently been residing. She was born on January 3, 1937 in Neubern, North Carolina. She worked for Hopewell Center, Anderson, IN and Hillcroft Services in New Castle.

She loved writing stories about her past, historical events and contributing to the Cardinal Service Management newsletter. She enjoyed artwork and watching the classic television shows. Emily’s family includes, brother, John Philpott; nephews, Nathan Philpott, Daniel Philpott, Kirk Philpott and niece, Terri Terrell She was preceded in death by father, Royal Monroe Philpott, mother, Modirey (Bunting) Philpott, brother, Harry Philpott.
