Emily V Borkowski Driscoll , October 02, 1934 — February 27, 2019

Emily V. Driscoll (nee: Borkowski) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. She was born in New York City to the late Anna and Thomas Borkowski. She was a long-time Bayonne resident and parishioner of the Church of St. Henry.

Mrs. Driscoll was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a waitress in the Executive Dining Room at Prudential Insurance Company, Newark, and also worked at the Hi-Hat and DiPietro’s. Mrs. Driscoll was predeceased by her beloved husband, James A. Driscoll; and her loving children, James Driscoll and Elizabeth Wasielewski.

She is survived by her beloved children, Robert Driscoll, and his wife, Lisa, Peter Driscoll, Emily Ann Schmicking, and her husband, William, Katherine Groben, and her husband, James; her cherished grandchildren, James, Dennis, Jessica and Lauren Driscoll, Kathryn Guerra, Kristy Schmicking, Jonathan Wasielewski and Elizabeth Trovato; five adoring great grandchildren; her dear daughter-in-law, Jane Driscoll Murphy; and her loving sister, Dolores Lyons. She was also predeceased by her dear brother, Thomas Borkowski. The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Friday, March 1, 2019.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Henry’s Church at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
