Obituary for Ms. Emma Lou Dominick Ms. Emma Lou J. Dominick Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at St. Mark Baptist Church in Plaisance, LA, for Ms. Emma Lou J. Dominick, 83, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, November 11, 2018 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in St. Mark Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Jason Rubin will officiate the service.

Ms. Dominick is survived by five children, Cheryl Johnson (Gerald) of Lafayette, LA, Vanessa Joubert of Opelousas, LA, Gregory P. Joubert (Yvette) of Lake Charles, LA, Irene Myles of Texas City, TX and Cornell Joubert (Christina) of Lake Charles, LA; two brothers, Albert Miles (Geraldine) of Opelousas, LA and Quincy Myles of Hitchcock, TX; 14 grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, LaDawn Kennerson, Jasmine Johnson, Justin Alsandor, James Dartez, Oscar Myles, Broderick Johnson, Kyla Joubert, Cory Joubert, Joshua Joubert, Caleb Joubert, Rhianna Gallien, Jenae Gallien and Alexis Gallien; 14 great grandchildren, DreMarcus Tezeno, Briasha Jones, Alacia Jones, Chace Ford, Jordan Hall, Jyran Johnson, Cohen Hall, Carter Johnson, Zoe Johnson, Lilly Johnson, Jayden Myles, Ashlynn Dartez, James Shelton Dartez, III; 1 great-great grandchild, Rylan Tezeno; six step-children, Floyd Dominick (Glenda), Dalfred Dominick, Marva Floyd (Billy), Charlene Dominick, Abbie Brown and Betty Glaze; 17 step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Ms. Dominick was preceded in death by her first husband, Hayward Joubert; second husband, Floyd Dominick, Sr.; her parents, John Miles & Emma LeDay; six sister, Louanna Guillory, Beulah Baker, Eldonia Franklin, Selena Thomas, Edmonia Murry and Christina Crea; two brothers, Allen Miles and Alvin Miles; a step-daughter, Clara Dominick. Visiting hours will be observed from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. Mark Baptist Church.
