Obituary for Emma Glass (Hughes) Emma Louise Glass, age 83 of Lexington died on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY. Emma was born on February 15, 1935 in Pike County, Kentucky to the late Willie and Nancy Yates Hughes. She was a graduate of Virgie High School and was a homemaker after marrying Kenneth Glass who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Deborah Jane Osborne. Surviving is a son, Sterling Dwayne Glass of Lexington, two grandsons, Shawn Glass and wife Laura and Steven Glass and wife Alicia as well as 2 great grandchildren, Taylor and Bryce Glass and two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Hughes and Jacqueline Hughes. The funeral service for Emma Louise Glass will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Eddie Pagan.
Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens with bearers being Shawn Glass, Sterling Glass, Steven Glass, Steve Campbell, Mike Hughes, Randy Hughes, Chad Campbell and Forrest Palmer.
