Obituary for Emmett Gerald “Jerry” Staley, Jr. Emmett Gerald ” Jerry” Staley, Jr., age 90, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. He was a former hospital administrator in Allen County. There will be a gathering of family and friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home.

Jerry was born in Dehue, West Virginia to the late Emmett Gerald Staley, Sr., and Lillian Marie Staley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Lee McComas of West Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Peggy Kidd Staley; daughters, Dr. Stella Rose Staley, M.D. of Lexington, and Jeri S. Black of Canton, Michigan; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
