Sinton – Epifanio “Eppie” Perez, Jr. passed away on May 3, 2019. He was 71. Eppie was born in Martin, Texas on October 27, 1947 to Epifanio Ramos and Petra (Moreno) Perez.

Eppie was a resident of Sinton most of his life, most recently the last 25 years. He was a former resident of La Marque, Texas. Eppie was an electrician.

He had been employed by Coonrod Electric Company in Sinton, Texas for 23 years. Eppie proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death is his son: Christopher Perez; and parents: Epifanio and Petra Perez. Survivors include his son: Michael Perez (Callie) of League City, Texas; daughters: Patty Perez (Chad) of La Marque, Texas; Emma Perez and Elisa Perez of Sinton, Texas; grandchildren: Cianna Rose Robinson; Bennet Perez and Brooks Perez; sisters: Janie Sepulveda of Corpus Christi, Texas and Judge Yolanda Guerrero (Fidencio) of Sinton, Texas; and numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will begin Thursday, May 9, 2019, 12:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton.

A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 10, 2019, 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Burial will follow, 1:00 PM in The Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi.
