Obituary for Eric J. Staquet Sr. Eric J. Staquet, Sr., 49 A resident of Lancaster passed away suddenly at home on June 15, 2018. Eric was born on December 2, 1968 in Upper Darby to Frank and the late Patricia Staquet. He graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1986.
He married Rosalie, the mother of all his children, in 1998 in Fresno, CA. Over 15 years, the couple welcomed 8 children into their home and Eric set about teaching them selflessness, perseverance and love. His children remember him as a strong, hardworking, knowledgeable, dependable, fearless, influential, devoted and thoughtful father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
After moving back to Philadelphia, Eric began his own carpentry company, Sonic, which was successful for many years. Eric was known to all as the most skilled carpenter to ever enter the field. Eric was accomplished at sports, travelling and construction, and often engaged in these activities with his friends and family.
He was a generous, witty and adventurous individual who loved cooking and music and who was passionate about raising his children, making memories and having a good time. He was an active and dedicated member of the Clifton Heights community and was deeply involved in the towns activities throughout his lifetime. Eric will be sincerely missed and our thoughts and hearts are with everyone who had the pleasure to know him.
Predeceased by his mother Patricia (nee Corr) Staquet and brother Frank Staquet, Jr He is survived by his father, Frank Staquet, Sr.; former wife, Rosalie Staquet; children, Melissa, Patricia, Eric and Sarah Staquet, Michael Bains, Jo-Ann Babb, Lonnie and Gabriel Hernandez; siblings, Jerome (Kim) Staquet, Paul Staquet and Bernadette Staquet; niece, Kayla Staquet; nephews, Josh, Brandon and Adin Staquet; grandson, Jasper Staquet. Visitation: Monday 9:00 am at the Williams Lombardo Funeral Home 33 W. Baltimore Ave.
