ERIC LAMONT COLEMAN Eric Lamont Coleman, 48 was born on December 23, 1969 to Brenda Lorraine Coleman and George Brice Vaugh Jr. in Kansas City, Missouri. Eric was an only child. George, his father; both sets of grandparents Samuel Coleman Sr. and Theorist Coleman, George and Minnie C. Vaugh have all preceded Eric in death.

“God called Eric home on November 20, 2018. “ Eric was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri except for summers spent on vacation with the Coleman grandparents in Oakland, California or in Palestine, Texas. He really enjoyed traveling.

He also enjoyed the Royals Baseball team and the Kansas City, Chiefs. Further, he enjoyed reading, talking and keeping-up with politics of all kind. Eric attended St. Joseph Elementary School from kindergarten through fourth grade.

He then attended Chick Elementary School grades fifth and sixth and advanced to Marlborough Middle School completing grades seventh through tenth. Lastly, he attended Lincoln Jr. and Lincoln High School in the “Gifted and Talented program”. His tenth through twelfth grades were successfully achieved at Southeast Senior High School in Kansas City, MO.

, he was a proud graduated in the class of 1988. He furthered his education at Penn Valley Community College for one and half years. He then attended Vatterott College for H/VAC training and secured his certificate of completion and a universal license.

Eric attended Canaan Missionary Baptist Church of Kansas City, Missouri. Eric worked for various companies in Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. Throughout his career he would help anyone in need.

For all those he called friend, he was loyal, dependable and caring. Eric was a loving, compassionate, dependable and protective son. Eric leaves to cherish his memory mother Brenda Coleman; aunt Carolyn Perkins Oakland, CA; special cousin Vicki Lynn Ferguson Oakland, CA; aunts and uncles Theorist (Joe) Ealey Kansas City, MO, Rev.

Samuel (Geneva) Coleman Atlanta, GA; brother George Vaughnell nephew Jalen Denver, CO; four additional aunts Diane Jamierson and Patricia Paschal both of Kansas City, MO. , Marsha Gail Moore Fulton, Mo. , Marian Coleman Newark, NJ and a host of other relatives cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00noon on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church 3634 Brooklyn Avenue, KCMO 64109. Visitation 10:00 A.M. Interment Mt.

Moriah Cemetery.
