Eric T. Stabell, age 46 of Norwalk, passed away at his home on Wednesday January 9. Born in Norwalk on January 19, 1972, he was the son of Edward S. Stabell (partner Elizabeth Ayn) and the late Susan Meade Stabell. Eric attended Norwalk schools, received his BA from Fairfield University and his MS in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University.

He worked as a director in the Human Capital Management Industry. Eric was an avid fan of the Yankees and Cowboys, enjoyed hiking, and loved spending time with his family and his dog Guinness. Survivors also include his son Colbey J. Stabell, his sister Jackie McCarthy (Michael), and nieces Jennifer and Susan McCarthy.

Eric’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave. , Norwalk on Sunday, January 13, from 10 AM until 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Eric’s mom or to a favorite local animal shelter.
