Obituary for Eris Beryl Carroll Eris Beryl Carroll, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the age of 93 years. She was born on Aug. 14, 1924 in Utopia, TX to Sylvester and Emma Mazurek.

She was a member of the San Antonio Trinity Baptist Church and the Pilot Club of San Antonio. She was also a business owner of Northside Opticians for over fifty years and was the first woman elected President of the South-Central Texas Ophthalmic Dispensers Society. She is preceded in death by her son Thomas Randall Carroll and five siblings.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Anne Carroll; two granddaughters, Chelsa Carroll of Marble Falls and Katelyn Carroll of Fort Worth and two grandsons, Matthew Carroll and Philip Carroll and their families of San Antonio.
