OBITUARY Erma Sharpe April 30, 1944 – December 13, 2018 Erma Sue Allen Sharpe was born in the Becker Community near Kemp on April 30, 1944. She died in Kaufman, Texas on December 13, 2018. Erma attended Kemp Schools and graduated in 1962.

She started her accounting career with Lone Star Gas Co. the same year. She retired from Dallas Amusements five years ago. In 1966 she married Ross Rydeene Sharpe and together they had one child, Jeffrey Ross Sharpe.

Erma is survived by her son Jeff and wife Monica, sisters: Freda Hoarne of Forney, Anona Atterton of Kemp, Barbara Lewellyn of Kaufman, Margie Ward and Robert of Mabank, brother Walter “Jr” of Seven Points, a host of nieces, nephews and beloved extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Catherine Allen, husband Rydeene and granddaughter Jordan.
