Erma Vesely, age 101 of Bloom City died on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Zimmerman Nursing Home in Reedsburg, WI. Erma was born on June 14, 1917 on the family farm in Richland County to Edwin and Albina (Novy) Hynek. While attending the Bloom City School she also worked on the family farm.

Erma was active in in many community organizations: she was a member of the Cesky Den Organization and served as a board member; Western Fraternal Organization; and served as clerk on the Bloom Township… Read More » Board. Erma was a very hard worker not only was she the correspondent for the Bloom City News; she also farmed for many years in Bloom Township along side her husband Charlie. Erma is survived by her daughter Marilyn Snorek of Reedsburg, WI; sisters – in – law: Anna Sorenson, Mary Koca – both of New Lisbon, WI; many cousins, and friends.

Erma was preceded in death her parents, husband Tom Snorek, and husband Charlie Vesley. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Czech National Cemetery in Yuba at a later date.

Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00PM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at prattfuneralservice.com.
