OBITUARY Ernest Arnold Swattes October 4, 1940 – September 13, 2018 Ernest A. Swattes entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2018. He was born on October 4, 1940 in Houston, Texas to parents, J.O. Swattes and Josephine (Zebeau) Swattes. Ernest is preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Swattes; father, J.O. Swattes; mother, Josephine Swattes, and brother, Leonard Swattes.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Robin Swattes and Mary Wilson; grandchildren, DJ Wright, Christin Hopson, Ginny Hopson; great-grandchildren, Emerus and Natalie. The family will receive family and friends for a visitation Monday, September 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; a funeral service on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home; with a burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park and Cemetery, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
