Obituary for Mr. Ernest F. Manley WINTER HAVEN – Mr. Ernest Frederick Manley, 88, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018 in Lakeland, FL due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. Manley was born June 25, 1930 in Homeland, FL, and was a longtime resident of Winter Haven after moving there many years ago from Avon Park.

He was a retired dragline operator from Swift & Co. and Estech Chemical Co., and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Manley was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Franklin Manley and Lena Drawdy Manley; wife, Mary Ann Manley; son, Frederick M. Manley; brothers, Clinton Manley and Richard Manley; sister, Doris Stanford; and he jointly passed away with his daughter, Linda Manley Hinson. He is survived by his son in law, Mark Hinson; grandchildren, Donna, Sarah, and Carmaletha; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other close family members.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 8,2018 with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. in Hancock Funeral Home chapel.
