Ernestine’s Obituary Ernestine Brinson, 91, of Salisbury, departed this life on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (Genesis). Born in Scotland Neck, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Knight and Idella Jones Woodard. Her husband, John C. Brinson, also preceded her in death.

Prior to retiring, she worked at the Campbell Soup Company. She will be lovingly remembered by: two daughters, Nina Jefferson of Salisbury and Chellie Jones of Princess Anne; a son, Eugene Jones of Clinton; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives, and friends. Mrs. Brinson will lie in repose on Monday, February 18, 2019, from 12 to 1 PM at Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A., 1618 West Road, Salisbury.

The funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park, Inc., West Road, Salisbury.
