Ernie Nottingham, age 63 of McDaniels, KY died Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Hosparus In-Patient Care Center. He was born in Kingswood, KY on July 11, 1955. Ernie was the former owner of Double D Sanitation and a manager of a tire store.

He was a member of McDaniels Fire Department and a board member of Breck Central EMS. Ernie enjoyed working on CB radios and derby cars and loved his animals. He was preceded in death by his father Melvin Nottingham, wife Marty Nottingham and son Lonnie Nottingham.

Ernie is survived by his wife Anna Nottingham of McDaniels, KY mother – Emma Nottingham of Hardinsburg, KY 2 brothers – Ronnie Nottingham (Judy) of Harned, KY and Stephen Nottingham (Christy) of Ekron, KY 2 nieces and 1 nephew Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Coyles Cemetery in Madrid, KY. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4-8 PM and Friday after 8 AM.
