Esther Dickey July 10, 1926 – January 05, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook Esther Dickey, 92, of Galien died peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Esther was born July 10, 1926 in Galien to Clarence and Martha (McClellan) Ender. She married Aaron Dickey on November 27, 1948.

Sadly, he passed away on September 18, 2015. Esther was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church where she was very active. She was a very loving person and never met someone she didn’t like.

Esther was always happy to help others especially if it meant she could bake for them, and was known for her rolls, candies, and sweets. Esther was also a caregiver for others for many years. It brought her joy to assist others in need.

Family was incredibly important to her and would do anything for them. She will be forever remembered. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Teresa (Heinz Zemke) Dickey of Baroda; grandchildren Andy (Anita) Dickey of Galien and Hailey Zemke of Baroda; great grandchildren Alyssa and Drake; brother Arnold Ender of Glendora; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron, and her sisters Helen and Mae. Family and friends will gather Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Pobocik Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 106 Ash Street East, Three Oaks, Michigan 49128.

The Pastor Lewis Lambert will be officiating. Esther will be laid to rest in Galien Cemetery next to her husband. The family prefers contributions be made in Esther’s memory to Community of Christ Church, 110 South Cleveland, Galien, Michigan 49113.
