Esther Pearl McGann, 76, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at her home. Born on December 8, 1942, in Meyersdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Viola Mae (White) Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Jedd and sister Katie.

Esther was a graduate of Meyersdale Area School and was a seamstress for the sewing factories in Meyersdale and Mt. Savage. She was also a house sitter for hospice.

She was a devoted member of the Mount Savage Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Charles Gregory McGann; children, Patricia Wannamaker and husband James, Melissa Lavin and husband William and Thomas McGann; grandchildren, Greg Wannamaker and girlfriend Carissa Warnick, Steven Wannamaker, Shana McGann and fiancé Ron Claggett, Lillith Lavin, Lance Lavin, Steven Lavin and Orin Lavin; great grandchildren, Talia Wannamaker and Drayke Wannamaker and his mother Olivia Hyson; siblings, Josephine Cawthern, Bill Riley, Shirl Bowman, Maxine Yommer and Butch Webb; and numerous nieces and nephews. In accordance to her wishes, Esther was cremated and there will be no services.
