OBITUARY Esther Tovar August 26, 1939 – October 20, 2018 Esther Tovar, age 79 of Dallas, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her residence in Dallas. Esther was born on August 26, 1939 in Dallas, a daughter of Pete G. Rojo and Beatrice Rodriguez. A visitation for Esther will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220.

The rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM. The funeral service and Liturgy of the Word for Esther will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Father Ruben Ortiz will officiate.

Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Esther was a lifelong resident of Dallas and raised five children. She greatly enjoyed dancing and sports, played women’s softball, and loved the Texas Rangers.

She was a simple woman who will be greatly missed. Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery in Dallas, Texas has charge of arrangements.
