Obituary for Ethel L. Lehner Ethel L. Lehner, age 89, of Delaware died Sunday September 2, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 10, 1929 in Delaware to the late Earl B. and Edna (Bevan) Pool. Ethel was a 1947 graduate of Willis High School.

She was a 60 year member of Beta Sigma Phi, had served on the Delaware Co. Mental Health Board and served as a precinct voting official. Ethel was recognized by the Delaware County Farm Bureau as Farm Wife of the Year. She had a passion for giving and delivered Meals on Wheels.

She was also a farmer and was happiest when milking her cows. She always had a meal on the table for those who visited. Survivors include Ethel’s husband who she married on March 18, 1951.

, David Lehner (She was introduced by her mother) ; children, Richard (Christina) Lehner of Delaware, Amy (John) Runyan of Ashley, and Earl (Beth Lehner of Delaware; Grandchildren, Benjamin Lehner, Andrew Lehner, Todd (Jamie) Etgen, Amanda (Ryan) Rhoades, Meghan (Matt) Yarnell, and Sarah Lehner and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by and an infant brother Edward and her grandson Eli Lehner. Friends may call on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6-8P.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St. in Delaware, where funeral services will be Friday at 11AM with Pastor Philip Wilden officiating.
