Obituary for Ethel Mae Odum Ethel Mae Odum, 100, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday February 21, 2019 at Grandview Nursing Home following a period of declining health. Born October 18, 1918 to the late Ed and Bertie Mae Odum, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Ethel retired from Jesse Jewell following many years of service.

She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening and spent her life in service to others. Surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday February 24, 2019 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.
