Eugene E. “Butch” Olsen age 76, of Belvidere, formerly of Marengo and longtime resident and lifelong farmer in Algonquin, passed away peaceful at his home on August 31, 2018. Butch was born in Chicago on July 21, 1942 the son of the late Eugene G. and Marion (Martin) Olsen. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Olsen (Kosta), they were married on September 22, 1973; his sons Brian Olsen and Robert Olsen; his brothers John (Diane) Olsen and Edward (Tammy) Olsen; brother in law, Frank Kosta along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation for Butch will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 3:00PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. , (one mile east or Randall Rd.

) Algonquin. Visitation will continue on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM with an 11:00 AM Service at the funeral home. Interment Algonquin Cemetery.
