Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou Sievers (nee Rutledge) for 62 years. Devoted father of Robin Hauck, John Sievers and David (Mindy) Sievers. Cherished grandfather of Sarah Hauck and Tessa Hauck, Amanda and Eddie Sievers.

A dear brother of Brentha Duwe and the late Leonard and Thomas Sievers, Virginia Zeisler and Edna Armstrong. Gene was a friend to all and a stranger to none. He worked for Merrill Dow for over 35 years as an Unit Coordinator.

After retirement, he enjoyed being a school bus driver for Oak Hills School District. Gene passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the age of 89. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 26th at 12pm at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.

Interment to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
