Eula Bennett Cripps age 99 of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 11, 2018. She was born February 15, 1919 to her parents, the late Jack and Lassie Fish Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Cripps; son, Kenneth Cripps; 2 daughters -in-law, 2 great-great-grandchildren; 6 sisters and 4 brothers.

Ms. Eula was a member of the Harvest Time Church, shirt factory worker and homemaker. The love and passion was her family, she was affectionately known as “Granny”, not only by her grandchildren, but by many who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, 1 daughter, Marie Cripps of Temperance Hall; 1 son, Jerry Cripps of Alexandria; 3 grandchildren, Kent (Darcie) Cripps, David ( Deborah) Cripps and Lisa Cripps all of Alexandria; 6 great-grandchildren, Daniel Cripps, Kevin (Liz) Cripps, Ashley (Caleb) Roth, Tyler (Jessica) Cripps, Amanda (Mark) McAfee and Nicholas (Christian) Underhill; 7 great-great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Levi and Anna Cripps, Elizabeth, Ezra and Evelyn Roth and Josee Cripps; 1 sister, Gladys Williams of Hickman.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:PM Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wendell Judkins, David Cripps and Kent Cripps officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday 12 Noon until 8:PM and Wednesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 3:PM.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
