Eva Jean “Jeanne” Alderson, 89, of Canonsburg, died peacefully at home, Monday, May 20, 2019. She was born March 12, 1930, in Houston, a daughter of the late Anthony and Edith Alderson, who later married John Jacannon, of Canonsburg. She attended school in the Houston School District.

She worked for many years at Giant Eagle, in McMurray. Jeanne was a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, and served as a Deacon in her younger years. Deceased in addition to her mother, father, and son, Donald Holt, are four brothers; Kelly, Wayne, Howard, and Donald; and her sisters, Geraldine Coleman, and Lillie Shannon.

Jeanne lived many years with her loving sister and best friend, Lillie Shannon, who passed away in July. Their entire family is together again, and their surviving nieces and nephews rejoice in their reunion. Service information will be posted when arrangements are complete.
