Eva’s Obituary Eva Marie Barnett, age 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, May 4, 2019, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Barnett was born July 31, 1929, in Waldo, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Barnett, one son, Mickey Barnett, and three brothers, Clyde Johnson, Garvin Johnson, and Homer Johnson. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Renee Barnett of Texarkana; one sister, Geneva Johnson of Texarkana; three nephews, Lannie Johnson of Eugene, Oregon, Johnnie Johnson of Palmer, Alaska, and Garrie Johnson of Springfield, Oregon; and four special friends, Margaret Rice, Carolyn Trammell, Carolyn White, and Kevin Boliek. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
