OBITUARY Eva Mellen March 30, 1935 – January 25, 2019 It is with great sadness that the family of Eva Mellen announces her passing after a long illness of Dementia, on Friday January 25th, 2019, at the age of 83 years. Eva will be lovingly remembered by her husband George of 58 years, daughter, Heidi, granddaughters, Jessica and Gina and daughter-in-law, Antoinetta. Eva was predeceased by her son David.

Eva was born on March 30th, 1935 in Ernestinovo Yugoslavia (Croatia) one of nine children. Eva and her family moved to Klagenfurt, Austria in 1944. Eva then moved to Spring Valley, New York in 1954.

She then married George in 1960 and had two children. Eva worked hard for many years at Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a machine operator in Suffern, New York. Eva and George retired and moved to East Stroudsburg, PA.

Eva loved to dance, gardening and was an accomplished cook and baker. Many loved her Christmas cookies.
