Evelyn Johanna (Krenz) Plautz, 88, loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully onto her heavenly home on October 8th, 2018. Evelyn was born on May 30, 1930 to Agatha and Lenard Krenz. She married Donald Plautz on February 3, 1951.

Evelyn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church as well as member of the Marathon County Homemakers Club for over 50 years. She is survived by five children, 20 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Evelyn will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ed Sheeran must have had our mom in mind when he wrote this song because it fits her perfectly. “You were an angel in the shape of my mom.

And when God took you back, he’ll say Hallelujah, you’re home”. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 501 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Mr. Phil Larson will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 11 at Helke Funeral Home; resuming on Friday at 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
