OBITUARY Faithe Earline Craig November 23, 1983 – August 6, 2018 Faithe Earline Craig passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the age of 34, in the home of her parents. After a horrible 20 month battle with breast cancer, she has been healed in Heaven. She was born to Edward & Earline Walters on November 23, 1983 and spent her early childhood years in the towns of Royse City and Rockwall, TX.

She had most recently resided at her home in Crandall, TX. Faithe was a National Honor Society member at Rockwall High School and graduated with honors in 2002. She completed her Bachelors Degree at Texas A & M University at Commerce and was awarded a Masters Degree in Education and Curriculum Development in 2016.

Faithe was a third grade teacher at BJ Smith Elementary in Mesquite, TX where she received the First Class Teacher award in 2016. Faithe was a loving mother to Colt and Olivia. She worked hard to buy her first house and truly made it a home for her and her two young children.

Faithe loved going camping with her kids and looked forward to their annual trip to Jellystone in Tyler, TX. Faithe was an avid reader and collector of books. She loved to dance and cherished her time as a Rockwall Stingerette.

Faithe was a firecracker who was downright witty and had the ability to make everyone around her laugh. She was a passionate educator who had the desire to see every child in her presence learn to read. From the babies she cared for while running her in-home daycare to her third graders at BJ Smith, they were all very special to her.

As the youngest of five children, Faithe was and always will be our baby. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward J. Walters, Jean R. Walters, Erlin Walter Stortz, & Agnes Loretta Stortz. Faithe is survived by her children, Colt Craig & Olivia Craig-Seyfert; mother, Earline Walters, father; Edward Walters; siblings, Edward E. (Butch) Walters & wife Donna, Heather Lawrence & husband Joe, Loretta Wilson, & Kevin A. Walters & wife Leah; she also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

A rosary in Faithe’s memory will be recited on Monday, August 13th at 7pm at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 9470 Co Rd 213, Forney TX 75126. A memorial Mass will be held at St Martin on Tuesday, August 14th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Colt and Olivia Trust Fund, C/O Ed & Earline Walters, 6911 Deer Trl, Quinlan, TX 75474.
