Mrs. Faye Dianne McDonald age 73 of Dalton passed away Friday, July 13, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Phillips and Sarah Scoggins Phillips, stepmom Beatrice Phillips, and stepbrothers George and Jack Cloer. Nephews, Douglas Posey, David McDonald and Brian Cloer.

Dianne is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James “Bo” McDonald. Daughters and sons in law, Kaye and Steve Atkins, Karen and Carey Young all of Dalton, a son Roderick McDonald of North Ridge, CA. Grandchildren and spouses, Courtney and Barry Phillips, Shanna and Matt Eaton, Kayla and Lyle Ledford, Chandler Henry, Caylee Young, Savannah McDonald, Chaston Atkins, Cayden McDonald, William (Billy) Thacker, and Sandy Upton.

Great-grandchildren, Cristian Phillips, Jett Kaylor, Frankie Phillips, Adalyn Phillips, Ryker Ledford, Kaisley Eaton, Cade Thacker, Brittany Lynn and Callie Upton. one sister Carolyn Phillips Posey of Chatsworth, stepsister Patricia Ridley of Chattanooga. brother in law John McDonald two sister in laws Terri Saxon of Atlanta and Deloris Dee Quinton of Rossville.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be Saturday, July 28, 2018, 2 pm at Holly Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Cochran officiating. the family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon till 2 pm Arrangements made with integrity by Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, Crematory and Monuments.
