GORDON – Faye Rogers Keck went home to our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. She was surrounded by family in her home. She was born June 29, 1937 in Gordon, TX to Joe & Lena Rogers.

Faye was married to Bill Keck for 61 years. They met, married, and graduated from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX, where she graduated in 1960 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. Faye and Bill were in the music ministry together for more than 40 years.

Together; they served full time in 10 churches. She was an accomplished piano player. She started and led a singles ministry, organized choir tours, started the first 3 year old choir in the state of Texas, and coordinated 13 children’s choirs in one church.

She is survived by husband, Bill Keck; son, Roger Keck & wife Dana; granddaughters, Sabrina West & husband Joe, and Molly Profit & husband Jeremy; grandson, Brody Keck & wife Madison; great-grandchildren, Colby West and Chandler West. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Joe Rogers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church Building Fund, PO Box 126, Gordon, TX 76453.

Visitation will be Thursday, 6~8 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home, 215 E. Housley, Strawn, TX. A celebration of Life will be at Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church, 2731 S FM 129, Santo, TX 76472. Burial will follow at the New Gordon Cemetery.
