Fed Belamah Ray, Jr. age 78, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Tranquility Hospice at Cobb. He was born on May 12, 1940 in Elberton, Georgia to the late Fed Sr. and Frances Ray. Mr. Ray worked as an Electrician with I.B.E.W.

Local Union 613. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Andy Ray. Survivors include his beloved wife, Joanne M. Ray of Dallas, GA, daughters; Tracy Besson of Holly Springs, GA, Melissa and Joel Turk of Gainesville, GA, brothers; Larry Ray of Lavonia, GA, Darryl Ray of Atlanta, GA, Patsy Dickerson of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren; Amanda and Shawn Grindle, Drew Besson, Aaron Besson, great-grandchildren; David Grindle, Athena Grindle, Freya Grindle, several nieces and nephews and his loving pets; Bentley and Gizmo.

A visitation for Mr. Ray will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from The Georgia National Cemetery at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to Tranquility Hospice at Cobb.
