Felton Tatum, Sr. was born on May 23, 1937 to the late Will Tatum and Lillie Flemister. He peacefully transitioned from this life on May 4, 2018 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lorena Tatum, his parents, three brothers; Will Tatum, Jr., Albert Tatum and Arthur Lee Jasper, one sister; Fayrene Evans.

He leaves to cherish his memories: A loving and devoted wife of 49 years: Bobbie Jean Huskey-Tatum One son: Felton (LaTonia) Tatum, Jr. of Crossett, AR; Three grandchildren: Ravione Miller of Conway, AR; Cache’ and Jaylon Tatum both of Crossett, AR; A great-granddaughter: Amara Phillips of Conway, AR; Three brothers: David Tatum of Los Angeles, CA; Charles (Myrtle) Jasper of Atlanta, GA; Ricky Jasper of Watson Chapel, AR; Seven sisters: Avistine Rogers of Crossett, AR; Willie B. Jasper of Minneapolis, MN; Zola Jasper of Miami, FL; Flossie Jasper-Carter of Iuka, MS; Genette (Buford) Scott, Annette Hudson and JoAnne Tatum all of California and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, May 11, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Crossett, AR. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until 7 at the chapel on Thursday, May 10, 2018.

Burial will follow in the Westview cemetery under direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
