Johnny Mack Johnson, age 78, of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away at Crossett Rehabilitation and Health Center on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was a retired maintenance worker at Georgia Pacific Paper Operations and a member of Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church. Johnny was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching the Razorbacks.

He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, David Bascolm Johnson and Mary Francis Davis Johnson; one daughter, Sharon Mason; three brothers, Harrold Ray, Tommy and Albert “Bert” Johnson and two sisters, Jo Ann Townley and Marjorie Russell. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Ada “Ellon” Johnson; one son, Greg Johnson (Amy) of Crossett, AR; two daughters, Pam Williams (Joe) of Knoxville, TN and Angie Nix of Crossett, AR; two brothers, David Johnson of Little Rock, AR and Jimmy Johnson (Olenda) of Bryant, AR; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00AM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Lloyd Gibbs officiating. Interment is in Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Pallbearers are Regan Gardner, Justin Mason, Matthew Gardner, Jacob Nix, Trey Johnson, Tyler Nix, Cole Johnson, Rob Nix and Bradley Williams.

Honorary Pallbearers are Al Jones and Charles Hendrix. Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
