Preston Girtman, Jr. was born on December 14, 1957 to the late Preston Girtman, Sr. and Cleola Mason Youngblood in Warren, AR. He took his heavenly wings on Monday, July 23, 2018 in Bastrop, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents: Preston Girtman, Sr. and Cleola Mason Youngblood and 5 sisters: Eddy Washington, Joyce Thorton, Helen Tucker, Rosa Lincoln and Juanita Gibbs.

Preston attended TW Daniel and graduated from Crossett High School in 1977. On August 16, 2016 Preston confessed his faith in Christ and was baptized at New Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jesse Radford, Jr. Preston “Stone” as he was known loved to fish, play chess and he loved to detail cars. He leaves to cherish his memories: Two daughters: Orlandra Girtman of Bastrop, LA and also Calandra Girtman of Memphis, TN.

Five brother: Leon Washington of St Paul, MN, Otha Washington of Richfield, MN, James Girtman, Sr. of Oakland, CA, Nathan Girtman, I of Crossett, AR and Willie Girtman of New York; three sisters: Caroline Davis, Ella Brown, and Melba Wright. all of Crossett, AR; a special nephew: Todd Brown Jr., A special friend: Candace Williams, four grandchildren and also many nieces, nephews, cousins and Friends Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 27, 2018 at the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Crossett, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 11 until 7 at the chapel.
