July 15, 1929 – May 19, 2018 Feng Hsien Yee, 88, of Albany passed away on Saturday at Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House after a long illness with Alzheimer’s disease. Feng was born in China and spent her childhood in Japan. She married her husband David in Yokohama Chinatown, Japan on October 19, 1953 while he was stationed at the Camp Drew Army 343rd hospital as a chemist during the Korean War.

David and Feng came to Albany in 1955 to raise a family. She enjoyed sewing clothes and cooking for her family, fishing and camping around the state, and traveling/cruising around the world. She is survived by her husband David of 64 years; 7 children: Lena Downs of Salem, Derwin (Kris) Yee of Goodyear, AZ, Lisa (Jeff) Patrick of Milwaukie, Lillian (Bill) Oatman of San Jose, CA, Lucy (Joe) Chisholm of Sisters, David (Linda) Yee of Jefferson, and Loni (Jim) Loftus of Stayton, and 15 grandchildren.
