A homegoing service for Bro. Festus Moses, Jr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, will be held on Saturday, February 16th, 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, Pastor T.D. Leonard, officiating.

The interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Bro. Festus Moses, Jr. was born March 25, 1939 in Blackshear, Georgia to the late Festus, Sr. and Leressie Tucker Moses.

He was a faithful and loyal member of Mt. Tabor M.B. Church for over 25 years. He served on the Usher Ministry # 1, Baptist Training Union, Male ushers and the Male Chorus.

As a student of the word he attended Sunday School and Bible Study. He loved his church and loved going. He was a barber at Bosa Nova Salon for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine Moses; siblings, Addie Mae Douglas, Lillie Mae Cook and Robert Moses. He leaves to cherish fond memories with his son, Wayne Wilcox; brother, Lester Moses (Isabell); sisters, Margaret Boone, Betty Kelly (Leroy) and Claudia Mae Washington; a host of grandchildren, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, family and friends; special friends include his biddies, Dorothy Jenkins, Gwendolyn Curry and Gwendolyn Hagen; a loving supporter, Zack Dawson. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 15th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
