Brunswick—Flora (“Flo”) Morgan Crosson died suddenly of heart failure on February 10, 2019 at Midcoast Hospital. She was born February 26, 1920 and passed away just several days shy of her 99th birthday. Flo had been living at Avita, a memory care facility, for two years.

Born in Livermore Falls, Maine, Flo was the daughter of Helen (Chase) Randall and William Randall. She graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1938 and subsequently moved to Connecticut for a short time, returning to Maine to start a family. Eventually she moved to Bucksport where she lived most of her life.

Primarily a homemaker, Flo enjoyed cooking and was a meticulous housekeeper. She also had many hobbies which kept her busy between household duties, among them sewing, knitting and crocheting, drawing, doing crossword puzzles and cake decorating. She worked outside the home at local retail establishments and in later years was employed in the computer systems department at the St. Regis paper mill, retiring in the late 1980’s.

In 1994 she relocated to Brunswick to be closer to her family. She continued to pursue her many hobbies and took up greeting card making which delighted all the relatives and friends who received these mini “works of art”. Flo is survived by a daughter, Carol (Crosson) Dresser and husband, Art Dresser of Arrowsic, Maine, a son, Larry Crosson of Lisbon, Maine; four grandsons; and five greatgrandchildren.

She also leaves much loved nieces and nephews. Flo was predeceased by a sister, Ellen (Randall) Jewett, a brother, Merritt Randall, a close niece, Joy (Jewett) Johnson, and a nephew, Bill Randall. There will be no funeral but a memorial graveside service is planned for the late spring or early summer at Pleasant View Cemetery in E. Livermore, Maine.

Flo will be remembered by relatives and friends as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and as a diminutive lady who was always cheery, positive and loving, ready to help and support all of us whom she loved without any judgments or reservations.
